Supporting Local Causes
We’ve chosen to give back to our community by donating a percentage of our profits to local charitable causes.
We’re proud to say our donations have already helped Gateshead Foodbank and the Bensham Food Co-op.

Gateshead Foodbank
Gateshead Foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks and began operating in October 2012.
The aim of the foodbank is to provide emergency food supplies for local people in financial crisis across Gateshead.
To this day they are still proudly run by an incredible army of volunteers and have no paid members of staff employed in the foodbank.
An emergency food parcel contains enough food for 1 or 2 people for three days and the monetary value of one of these food parcels is around £25.00.
Bensham Food Co-Op
The Bensham Food Co-Op in Gateshead is a community-led project based at Corpus Christi Church, providing free fresh produce, staples and toiletries to residents, including refugees and asylum seekers, every Tuesday from 10:45 am to 12:45 pm.
Launched in 2016 by Soul Food Spaces, it operates as a, dignified alternative to traditional food banks, supporting over 250 people weekly.
